TPO Nepal Participates in the 1st International Conference on Applied Psychology
TPO Nepal proudly participated as a collaborating partner in the 1st International Conference on Applied Psychology, bringing together psychologists, mental health professionals, researchers, practitioners, and academics to share knowledge, experiences, and emerging evidence in applied psychology.
The conference provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, professional networking, collaboration, and discussion on evidence-informed approaches to strengthening mental health and psychosocial well-being.
As part of the conference, TPO Nepal hosted an exhibition stall, providing participants and delegates with an opportunity to learn about the organization’s work in research, capacity building, mental health, and psychosocial support.

TPO Nepal was also represented through two presentations. Prem Nath Bhattarai, Pitambar Koirala and Ratna Maya Lama presented on “Strengthening Adolescent Mental Health in Karnali Province: A Mixed-Methods Study of Effectiveness, Feasibility, and Acceptability.” The organization was also represented by its Executive Director, Dr. Kamal Gautam, who delivered a presentation on Research for Real World Impact: How Evidence Informs Mental Health Policy and Practice in Nepal.
TPO Nepal is grateful to the organizers, partners, presenters, and participants for creating a meaningful platform for learning, collaboration, and advancing applied psychology and evidence-informed mental health practices.
TPO Nepal is proud to have contributed to this important gathering and looks forward to strengthening continued collaboration and knowledge exchange to advance mental health and psychosocial support in Nepal and beyond.
