Psychosocial support to Internally Displaced Populations (IDPs)

Psychosocial Support to Internally Displaced Populations (IDPs) was the post disaster psychosocial support program for IDPs funded by Cordaid from 15th July 2016 to 31st March 2017 to restore psychosocial well-being of IDPs residing in 4 camps of Laharepauwa and Dhaibung VDCs of Rasuwa district. The IDPs were displaced from mostly affected VDCs (Hakku, Tiru, Dadagaun, etc) of Rasuwa due to devastating earthquake. Through this project, TPO Nepal implemented various Community Based Psychosocial Interventions such as Community Based Intervention (Sanjeevani), Self Help Support, Group sessions, Group Healing Interventions, Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercise, Individual Psychosocial Counseling, Basic Psychosocial Training (7 days) and publication of Psychosocial Booklet.
