Two Decades of Hope, Healing and Resilience: TPO Nepal’s 20th Anniversary

TPO Nepal marked its 20th Anniversary on June 6, 2025, at Park Village Resort in Budhanilkantha with a day filled with meaningful activities, heartfelt reflection, and vibrant celebrations. The event brought together a diverse group of individuals, organizations and stakeholders who have played significant roles in supporting mental health and psychosocial well-being across Nepal.

The day began with a blood donation program, reflecting TPO Nepal’s ongoing commitment to public service and community engagement. Simultaneously, a formal event was held, which was graced by the presence of members, executive board members, staff, government stakeholders from various agencies, representatives from UN partner organizations, local government authorities, and collaborating national and international NGOs; making the event an important platform for shared appreciation and recognition of the organization’s long standing contributions to the MHPSS sector. The program also disseminated the key milestone achievements of TPO Nepal over the past two decades. Speakers from different government agencies and partner organizations expressed their best wishes on TPO Nepal’s journey and contributions, highlighting their commitment to flourish MHPSS services and suicide prevention to foster  joint multi-sectoral collaboration.

The celebration transitioned into self care and wellbeing activities. This segment featured enthusiastic participation from TPO Nepal employees and board members, showcasing their practices and fostering a sense of unity and joy. The 20th Anniversary celebration was not only a moment to look back at the impactful journey of TPO Nepal but also a motivating occasion to renew its commitment toward advancing mental health and psychosocial support throughout Nepal.
