Strategic meeting of TPO Nepal’s Management Team and Executive Board

The Executive board and Management team of TPO Nepal came together on 30 and 31 March for the three years strategic planning of the organization. The meeting was held at Park Village Resort, Budhanilkantha.

A session on situation update (current projects, donors and budget), quality assurance, research and program prioritization, salary, benefits and positions, existing policies and provisions and challenges in the implementation of policies was conducted, which was facilitated by Mr. Suraj Koirala, Executive Manager of TPO Nepal. Mr. Nabin Lamichhane (vice chairperson of the executive board) facilitated the session on strategies of TPO Nepal for the coming years, TPO’s functions in federal system, collaboration with academic institutions, service users and other international partners and scope of TPO’s intervention. Next session on government policy or strategy with regards to NGO was facilitated by Mr. Trilochan Pokhrel (member of Executive Board). TPO Nepal’s Finance Manager Mr. Raam Katwal presented auditors report in the meeting,which led to the discussion on management of TPO’s internal resources. This session was concluded by listing out action points to draft a strategy on the basis of discussion.

The technical session was concluded after developing a plan of action to draft strategy and formalization process which was presented by Mr. Satish Aryal(member of Executive Board). The two days meeting was concluded with final remarks from Ms. Manju Adhikari, Chairperson of the organization.
