Transcultural Psychosocial Organization Nepal (TPO Nepal) is a non-governmental organization at engaged in the field of mental and psychosocial health. Since its establishment, it has been working at the community level in various districts of Nepal to provide general and emergency psychosocial support, as well as to conduct activities related to mental health services, training, advocacy, and research.
TPO Nepal has been implementing the project “Adolescent talking therapies for low-resource settings: asking what works for whom, how, and in what circumstances” in Chitwan district, focusing on reducing mental health issues among adolescent boys and girls through school-centered support and research-based programs.
For the implementation of this project, as per the details provided, a vacancy has been announced for the mentioned position. Nepali citizens who meet the qualifications are required to submit their applications.

Responsibilities
- Documenting the implementation process of the intervention, barriers, and facilitators
- Collecting, entering, and analyzing attendance data for the intervention
- Collecting, entering, and analyzing academic data (e.g., examination results, school attendance, etc.) from schools
- Conduct qualitative interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) with the stakeholders including teachers, students, school principals, school nurses, caregivers
- Conduct transcription and translation of qualitative data files.
- Assist with data coding, entry, and analysis of qualitative data
- Attend weekly meetings and provide updates.
- Assist in other tasks as per the needs of the project.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Public Health, or a related field (a graduate degree is preferred).
- Experience in using Excel and SPSS for quantitative data analysis.
- Ability to conduct qualitative data analysis, including transcription, translation, and coding.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in qualitative interviewing.
