Mental health camp at Ramechhap

A mental health camp was conducted at Khaadadevi rural municipality-6, Makadum on 5 November 2018. This camp was jointly organized by TPO Nepal and the rural municipality, under the Mental Health Integration in Ramechhap (MHIRA) project. Psychosocial counselor, specialist and medications were provided by TPO Nepal, while logistics and other health professionals were supported by the rural municipality.

A total of 86 service users attended the camp, where 50 received mental health services and the rest received general health services. Representatives of TPO Nepal, TPO Ramechhap, Community based Psychosocial Workers (CPSWs), district mental health focal person, health coordinator and vice-coordinator of Khaadadevi rural municipality and the in-charge of Makadum health post participated in the camp.
