Transcultural Psychosocial Organization Nepal (TPO) Nepal is one of Nepal’s leading psychosocial organizations. It was established in 2005 to promote psychosocial well-being and mental health of people in conflict-affected and other vulnerable communities through the development of sustainable, culturally-appropriate, and community-based psychosocial support systems.
Project information:
TPO Nepal is implementing activities under the “Strengthen systems for prevention and promotion of child and adolescent mental health” Flood Response project, with support from UNICEF. The project aims to delivery safe, inclusive, ethical and quality mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) to children, adolescents, caregivers, families and other affected and vulnerable populations in communities affected by Bhotekoshi Flash flood.
For this purpose, TPO Nepal seeks competent, committed and result oriented candidates for the following positions:
Job Title : M&E, Data and Documentation Officer
Job station : Nuwakot

Major responsibilities
The M&E, Data and Documentation Officer will support project monitoring, data collection, analysis, documentation and reporting; ensure data quality, track results and indicators, and provide timely evidence for program learning, accountability and decision-making. The M&E, data and documentation Officer will be responsible for following duties but not limited to:
- Monitoring and Data Collection: Develop and maintain project monitoring tools and databases, track activities, indicators, targets and timelines and coordinate timely data collection from field teams.
- Data Quality and Management: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency and ethical collection; maintain organized records and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, gaps and emerging issues.
- Evaluation and Learning: Support data evaluations and lessons learned, good practices, challenges and recommendations to strengthen program implementation.
- Results-Based Management: Support performance measurement frameworks and indicator tracking, monitor progress against expected results, highlight delays, gaps and underperformance to project management.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare M&E reports, dashboards and data summaries, and provide relevant evidence and analysis for donor, management, activity and program reporting.
- Capacity Building: Orient and mentor program staff and field teams on M&E tools, data collection, indicator definitions, documentation and reporting requirements.
- Coordination and Accountability: Coordinate with program teams to ensure monitoring data reflect implementation progress, support beneficiary feedback mechanisms, and promote appropriate disaggregation by age, gender, disability and other inclusion factors.
Qualification, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Public Health, or a related field; Psychology is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in M&E, research, documentation, or related work, with knowledge of M&E frameworks, IT and data management.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Nepali and English.
- Willingness to work in multicultural settings and stay or travel in remote and flood-affected areas.
- Basic knowledge of data management, monitoring tools, documentation and reporting; a motorbike/scooter driving license is an advantage.
- Good understanding of Child Protection, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI).
- Positive attitude toward learning new skills, adaptability and effective teamwork.
