Transcultural Psychosocial Organization Nepal (TPO Nepal) is one of Nepal’s leading psychosocial organizations established in 2005 to promote psychosocial well-being and mental health of people in conflict-affected and other vulnerable communities through the development of sustainable, culturally-appropriate, and community-based psychosocial support systems.
TPO Nepal seeks competent, committed and result-oriented candidate for the following position:
Job Title : Clinical Psychologist
Job station : Kathmandu
Job duration : 6 months with possibilities of extension
Number of openings : 1 (one)
Start date : At the earliest
Major responsibilities
The clinical psychologist will be responsible for following duties but not limited to:
- Lead to develop different psychosocial intervention, training modules and psychosocial policy related different publication focusing with child adolescents.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders including experts, line ministries, provincial and local government, donor agencies and project team to finalize modules/manual and publication.
- Conducted modular based psychosocial training (NHTC module 1-6, TPO Nepal developed CPSWs and six months training module) and based on these developed manual
- Conduct regular clinical supervision to project psychosocial staff based standard supervision module.
- Prepared events/monthly/quarterly report based
- Provide regular updates to project lead and head of program.
Qualification, Skills and Experience:
- Preferable MPhil in clinical psychology / Master’s Degree in child and adolescent psychology / clinical psychology/counselling psychology.
- Minimum three years of experience in develop manual, module and publication on child and adolescent MHPSS and clinical supervision.
- Good proficiency in computer skills
- Prior experience in intervention planning, design and implementation.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and typing in English and Nepali.
- Willingness to stay and travel in remote areas as per need.
- Willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
