Ms Indira Pradhan holds Masters’ degree in Education (Curriculum and Evaluation) from Tribhuwan University, Nepal. She has been working in the field of psychosocial and mental health for 13 years and has experiences to deal with SGBV survivors from 10 years conflict in Nepal.She has experience of working with conflict affected children, women and adolescent girls. She has extensive experience of training police personnel, health professionals, developmental workers, teachers on mental health and psychosocial support. She has worked with refugees and Nepali population through Common Threads intervention; the intensive psychotherapy for trauma survivors who have survived from gender based violence. Currently she is working as Project Coordinator for “Community-Based Psychosocial Capacity Building”funded by Americares through IsraAid which is focused on capacitating community based health workers like FCHVs, ANMs to support to integrate MHPSS in health system as well as practicing counseling and EMDR.
